Condos and apartments for sale in Phuket
This page lists condominium and apartment units currently available for sale in Phuket — from studios and one-bedroom units to larger two- and three-bedroom residences. Owners and developers describe them as condos, apartments, studios or duplexes; they are all units in residential buildings, and they appear here together.
Most are in developments with shared facilities such as a swimming pool and fitness centre, and many are offered fully furnished. Sold and reserved listings are left out.

Low-rise and luxury condominiums
Many of Phuket's resort-style developments are low-rise: buildings of a few storeys set around a pool and gardens, particularly near the beaches, and a large part of the condominiums we list are in buildings of that kind. Taller condominium buildings are found mainly in Patong, Kathu and Phuket Town. Low-rise resort buildings are well represented in our selection around Laguna and Bang Tao, in Cherng Talay and Surin, on the Kamala hillside and in Rawai and Nai Harn; if a low-rise building matters to you, say so and we will shortlist accordingly.
At the luxury end, the condominiums we list include beachfront and lagoon-side residences inside Laguna Phuket and in Layan, hillside buildings with sea views above Surin and Kamala, and sea-view resort residences in Patong, typically from ฿20 million upwards. For the largest top-floor units, see our penthouses for sale in Phuket.
What condos cost in Phuket
Asking prices on this page currently start at about ฿1.5 million. Roughly four in ten of our condos are under ฿5 million — mostly studios and one-bedroom units in resort developments in Bang Tao, Rawai, Nai Harn, Kamala, Karon, Nai Yang and Mai Khao — and about one in three sits between ฿5 and ฿10 million. One-bedroom units are the largest group, followed by two-bedroom units; larger family apartments of three bedrooms or more are a small share. Sea-view units start below ฿5 million in Kata, Karon, Surin and Kamala and run to several tens of millions for first-line residences in Laguna.
Prices are quoted for the unit as listed, usually furnished; common-area fees, the sinking-fund contribution on transfer and, for new projects, the payment schedule come on top and differ between buildings. The full condo search filters by price, bedrooms and area; ask us for the fee schedule of any building you shortlist.
Choosing a Phuket condo
When comparing condos, the details beyond the price often matter most:
Location — within walking distance of a beach, in a resort setting, or in a residential area close to schools and shops. If you are moving here rather than investing, our guide to retiring in Phuket compares the areas and the home types.
Building and facilities — pools, fitness centre, restaurant, parking and security, and how well they are maintained.
The unit — size, floor, orientation and view. Sea-view units are available in several areas. For the largest top-floor units, see our penthouses for sale in Phuket.
Running costs — common-area fees, sinking fund contributions, utilities and, if you plan to rent the unit out, the management or rental arrangements available.
Ownership — ownership structure and available quota depend on the specific property and buyer. Buyers should confirm the structure with an independent lawyer before committing. For the rules in full — the condominium foreign quota, funds from abroad, the Land Office steps and the fee types — see our guide to buying property in Phuket as a foreigner.
New developments and resale condos
The selection includes both new developments and resale units. New developments offer current designs and, for projects still under construction, may offer payment schedules spread over the build. Resale condos are usually completed and can be viewed as they are, often furnished.
For a project under construction, review the payment schedule, the construction timeline and the developer's track record. For a resale unit, check the building's condition, the common-area fees and exactly what is included in the sale.
You can also filter for condos that are ready to move in.
Beach, resort and residential locations
Bang Tao and Cherng Talay — our largest condo selection: resort-style and low-rise buildings around Laguna's lagoons and golf course, from one-bedroom units to beachfront residences; most of our first-line condos are here. See also Cherng Talay.
Surin and Kamala — low-rise resort condos near the beach and hillside buildings with sea views.
Kata and Karon — established south-west beach areas with many sea-view units, most of them under ฿10 million.
Patong — Phuket's best-known resort town; sea-view units on the hills around the bay and resort residences.
Rawai and Nai Harn — the residential south, popular with long-stay residents; one- and two-bedroom resales and small new low-rise projects.
Layan — a smaller selection north of Bang Tao, from Layan Green Park apartments to large luxury residences near Layan Beach.
Nai Yang and Mai Khao — quieter northern beaches close to the airport, with some of the lowest entry prices on the island; browse them.
Kathu and Phuket Town — inland buildings for everyday living and value; browse them.

Frequently asked questions
Can foreigners buy a condo in Phuket?
Yes, within the rules of Thailand's Condominium Act: a foreign buyer can own a unit freehold as long as the building's foreign-ownership quota is not exhausted, and some units are sold on a long lease instead. Which applies to a particular unit, and whether quota is available, must be confirmed with an independent lawyer before you pay a deposit. Planetarium Real Estate is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
What is a low-rise condominium?
A building of a few storeys, usually set around a pool and gardens rather than a tower. Many resort-style developments near Phuket's beaches are low-rise, and a large part of the condos we list are in such buildings; taller buildings are concentrated in Patong, Kathu and Phuket Town. Tell us if a low-rise building is a requirement and we will filter the shortlist for it.
What does a one-bedroom condo cost in Phuket?
On this page, one-bedroom units currently start at about ฿1.5 million in the north of the island, and most are priced below ฿5 million; sea-view and Laguna units cost more. Common-area fees and the sinking-fund contribution come on top; ask us for the figures of any building.
Are both new developments and resale condos available?
Yes. The listings include completed resale units and new developments, some still under construction. For new projects, we can share the information available on construction progress, payment schedules and handover.
Which areas are popular for condos in Phuket?
Most of our current condo listings are on the west coast around Bang Tao and Cherng Talay, followed by Rawai and Nai Harn in the south and the beach areas of Surin, Kata, Kamala, Karon and Patong.
Can Planetarium help compare condo projects?
Yes. Tell us your budget, preferred areas and how you plan to use the unit, and we'll shortlist condos that fit and compare their location, facilities, layouts, fees and the information available for each project.
