Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 August 2026
Our commitment
Your privacy is important to us. It is the policy of Planetarium Real Estate Phuket to respect your privacy and to comply with any applicable law and regulation regarding any personal information we may collect about you, including across our website at planetarium-phuket.com.
This policy explains what we collect through this website, why we collect it, who it may be shared with, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
The information we collect falls into two groups: information you knowingly and actively provide when you contact us, and information sent automatically by your device in the course of browsing the site.
Log data
When you visit our website, our hosting provider's servers may automatically log the standard data your web browser sends. This can include your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on each page, and technical details of any errors you encounter.
Please be aware that while this information may not identify you on its own, it may be possible to combine it with other data to identify individual people.
Personal information you give us
We ask for personal information only through the enquiry and viewing-request forms on this site. Depending on the form, and on what you choose to fill in, a submission may include:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your telephone or WhatsApp number;
- the message you write to us;
- the property, collection or project the enquiry relates to, and the page it was sent from;
- the language you were browsing the site in;
- for a Schedule a Tour request, the type of viewing and the date and time you asked for.
We do not ask for payment details, government-issued identification, or any special category of sensitive personal data anywhere on this website, and you should not send such information to us through these forms.
Legitimate reasons for processing your personal information
We only collect and use your personal information when we have a legitimate reason for doing so. In that case, we only collect the personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide our services to you.
Collection and use of information
We may collect personal information from you when you do any of the following:
- use a mobile device or web browser to access our content;
- send us an enquiry or a viewing request through a form on this site;
- contact us by email, telephone, WhatsApp or social media, or mention us on social media.
We may collect, hold, use and disclose that information for the following purposes, and personal information will not be further processed in a way that is incompatible with them:
- to contact and communicate with you about your enquiry;
- to arrange and confirm property viewings you have asked for;
- to enable you to access and use our website and associated services.
How an enquiry is handled
When you submit an enquiry or a viewing request, the details are sent to the Planetarium team as an email, through our email delivery provider. This website does not build an enquiry database: the submission is not written to any visitor database by the site itself, and there is no visitor account or login on this site.
Once your enquiry reaches us, it is handled in the ordinary course of our business, in the same way as an email you send us directly.
Security of your personal information
When we collect and process personal information, and while we retain it, we will protect it within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
Although we will do our best to protect the personal information you provide to us, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and no one can guarantee absolute data security. We will comply with the laws applicable to us in respect of any data breach.
How long we keep your personal information
We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it. How long that is depends on what we are using the information for, in line with this policy. If your personal information is no longer required, we will delete it or make it anonymous by removing the details that identify you.
Where necessary, we may retain personal information in order to comply with a legal, accounting or reporting obligation, or for archiving purposes in the public interest.
You may ask us at any time to delete the correspondence we hold about you.
Children's privacy
We do not aim any of our products or services directly at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under 13.
Disclosure of personal information to third parties
We may disclose personal information to:
- our employees, contractors and related entities;
- the service providers this website depends on in order to operate, so that they can provide those services to us — currently Vercel (website hosting and request logging), Mailgun (delivery of enquiry emails), Cloudflare R2 (storage and delivery of property images and video), and CARTO (the background map imagery used on our maps);
- our existing or potential agents or business partners, where that is necessary to answer your enquiry — for example the developer or owner of a property you have asked about;
- courts, tribunals, regulatory authorities and law enforcement officers, as required by law, in connection with any actual or prospective legal proceedings, or in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.
Some of those services are contacted directly by your browser as a page loads — property images and map imagery, for example — which means they receive your IP address and basic request information as part of serving that content.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
International transfers of personal information
The personal information we collect is stored and processed wherever we, our partners, affiliates and third-party providers maintain facilities. Our hosting, email delivery, image storage and map providers operate internationally, so your information may be processed outside Thailand and outside the country in which you provided it.
Please be aware that the locations to which we store, process or transfer your personal information may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided that information. If we transfer your personal information to third parties in other countries: (i) we will carry out those transfers in accordance with the requirements of applicable law; and (ii) we will protect the transferred personal information in accordance with this policy.
Your rights and controlling your personal information
You always retain the right to withhold personal information from us, with the understanding that your experience of our website may be affected. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights over your personal information. If you do provide us with personal information, you understand that we will collect, hold, use and disclose it in accordance with this policy. You retain the right to request details of any personal information we hold about you.
If we receive personal information about you from a third party, we will protect it as set out in this policy. If you are a third party providing personal information about somebody else, you represent and warrant that you have that person’s consent to provide the information to us.
If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information to contact you, you may change your mind at any time and ask us to stop. We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity.
If you believe that any information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, please contact us using the details below. We will take reasonable steps to correct any information found to be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or out of date.
If you believe that we have breached a relevant data protection law and wish to make a complaint, please contact us with full details of the alleged breach. We will investigate your complaint promptly and respond to you in writing, setting out the outcome of our investigation and the steps we will take. You also have the right to contact a regulatory body or data protection authority in relation to your complaint.
Cookies and information stored in your browser
This website does not set cookies of its own. We do not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not run a third-party analytics or advertising script on this site.
The site does store a small amount of information in your own browser's local storage, so that it can remember your choices between visits:
- the properties you have marked as favourites;
- the properties you have recently viewed;
- the display currency you have selected.
That information stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data, which simply resets your favourites, your recently viewed list and your currency choice.
If we introduce analytics or any other tracking technology in future, we will update this policy and put any consent mechanism required by applicable law in place first.
External links and the limits of this policy
Our website links to external sites and services that we do not operate — for example WhatsApp, and the websites of developers, owners and partners. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and policies of those sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
At our discretion, we may change this privacy policy to reflect updates to our business processes, current acceptable practices, or legislative or regulatory changes. If we decide to change this policy, we will post the changes here, at the same address by which you are reading it.
If required by law, we will ask for your permission, or give you the opportunity to opt in to or out of, as applicable, any new uses of your personal information.
Contact us
For any question or concern about your privacy, or to make a request about the personal information we hold about you, please use the contact details and enquiry form on our Contact page and mark your message as a privacy request.
